I bought my first Genius Bloggers Toolkit in my second year of blogging, and let me tell you….it was packed full of value. I thought “how can they give you so much for so little–is this really worth the money?” Then I began seeing that several of the bloggers I looked up to were not only supporting the toolkit, but some of them had their products in the kit, and that gave it credibility for me. When I first heard about the Genius Blogger’s Toolkit, I was skeptical, and I passed on it. This kit includes courses from top bloggers on every topic from Pinterest to Email writing, Social Media, and SEO just to name a few. If their free resources are of value to you, then it’s likely that the paid course would be as well. Follow the instructor and see what free resources they are offering. Check out other bloggers and see what they have to say about the course. We all have that FOMO syndrome (fear of missing out), but it’s important to do a little research on the courses you purchase before you start whipping out that credit card all willy nilly. A lot of them sound soooo good, but I often wonder if I’m going to get the benefits that they are promising out of the course to help me with my business? I see so many courses that I want to buy online. The YouTube course, and one other course on selling an online course (but in that instructor’s defense, I was not at all ready for that course when I took it.) I would say that overall, I have been lucky that I have benefited in some way from every course I’ve taken except for maybe two. But I should’ve known that I probably wouldn’t get what I was expecting from the course. Not saying that someone who hasn’t reached ultimate success is incapable of teaching because I absolutely believe that they can. Their old channel was stuck at about 5k subscribers and they were no longer uploading videos- only doing podcasts about other YouTubers. Some one who could tell me what I was doing wrong, and what I should be doing.īefore purchasing the course, deep down inside, I thought, this person talks a good game, but they no longer do YouTube. I would have rather just paid for a one on one audit of my channel with someone more experienced. I’m not saying that the course was a total waste of money, but in my opinion, it wasn’t worth $400. I started deep diving into the lessons, and after a couple of months into the program, I came to the realization that I wasn’t really learning all that much for my $400. I hustled on down to my local Office Depot and had all of the workbooks printed out, and spiral bound.
